YapPay is not a bank and does not directly accept deposits or provide banking services.

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)

  • Supporting underwriting or verification documentation

Application information may be transmitted or shared with applicable sponsoring financial institutions, payment processors, Netevia, banking-service providers, gateway providers, identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention providers, and other authorized service providers as necessary to process, underwrite, establish, service, maintain, or support the products or services you request.

YapPay does not independently make bank-account or payment-processing underwriting decisions. Approval, availability, account terms, and eligibility for payment processing and banking products are determined by the applicable financial institution, processor, banking-service provider, or other authorized partner.

4. Payment Processing and Netevia Banking Services

Payment Processing

YapPay provides access to payment processing and merchant-services solutions through registered Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), payment processors, sponsoring financial institutions, gateways, and authorized technology partners.

The specific processor, financial institution, gateway, or technology provider involved may vary depending on the merchant, product, industry, underwriting requirements, and services selected.

Payment-processing approval and account terms are determined by the applicable processor and sponsoring financial institution.

Netevia Banking Services

YapPay is an Authorized Certified Banking Agent of Netevia and may market, introduce, refer, and facilitate access to Netevia Banking Services for eligible businesses.

Banking products and services marketed by YapPay under this arrangement are Netevia Banking Services products and services and are subject to applicable eligibility requirements, terms, conditions, disclosures, and program requirements.

YapPay is not a bank. YapPay does not directly accept deposits, hold customer deposits, issue bank accounts, or independently provide banking services.

Any applicable deposit-insurance coverage, banking relationships, account terms, and regulatory disclosures are determined by and provided through the applicable banking program and financial institution. Users should review the disclosures and agreements provided during the Netevia Banking Services application and account-opening process.

Payment Card Information

Sensitive payment information is processed using authorized payment technologies and service providers. YapPay does not store full payment card numbers or sensitive authentication data except where expressly permitted and handled in accordance with applicable PCI DSS requirements.

5. PCI DSS and Payment Security

YapPay utilizes payment technologies designed to support PCI DSS compliance and works with PCI DSS-compliant or certified payment processors, gateways, and financial institutions, as applicable.

Sensitive payment information may be transmitted directly to and handled by authorized payment partners rather than YapPay.

Merchants remain responsible for their own applicable PCI DSS obligations based on their payment environment and method of accepting payments.

Automated tools are not intended to independently make final banking or payment-processing underwriting decisions on behalf of sponsoring financial institutions, processors, or banking-service providers.
